How do you make Black Friday at a major department store more personal?
This was a quick runaround and “Grab what you can” kind of production. There was a lot of footage from a day of shooting. But in post I thought it would be great if we could actually see the craziness of a real Black Friday. So I asked Target if they had any footage from Black Friday the year before, and I included Iphone footage into the finished film. This is where an editor can do more than work with what’s available, but actually bring in new elements.
